PROSPECTIVE MEMBERS FOR THE 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR

Are you interested in joining the 2026-2027 Tompkins Science Olympiad team?

Test offs for everyone (including freshman) will be held at the beginning of the school year in August
Each student will compete in 3-5 tests/events to earn a spot on the team!
Date TBD, but look out for an introductory meeting or other information we send out.
We will be testing on all events (including build events)
Leaving Senior’s Events- Codebusters, Circuit Lab, Chemistry Lab, Hovercraft, Designer Genes
Predicted Weak Events: Engineering CAD, Electric Vehicle, Chemistry Lab, Thermodynamics, Circuit Lab, Wright Stuff, Mission Possible, Hovercraft
Build Events- Our build events tend to not be the strongest at competitions. We have significantly improved this year but it is necessary for us to continue developing these. If you are able to create good builds spot on the team is very likely.
